The Lewis County Branch of AAUW was formed in 1923. In 2023 we celebrate our 100th anniversary! A mosaic was commissioned with local stain glass artist and branch member Marcy Anholt. It will be unveiled on Febrary 25, 2023, at a celebration of the 100th anniversary, and then hung in the library at Centralia College.
As part of the celebration of our 100th anniversary, The Chronicle has published several articles about our branch and our members, written by Julie McDonald.

From the beginning 100 years ago and continuing today, the members of Lewis County AAUW are women who believe strongly in education for women. We also enjoy working together on branch projects that support our goal, and participating in Interest Groups that focus on our specific interests! Our branch activities promote life-long learning for ourselves and support education for young women.
